As a Registered Psychologist in private practice, my treatment fees are not covered by OHIP. However, they may be covered in whole or in part by some extended health care carriers. This will be discussed with you at the time of initial consultation.
I typically ask for payment at the end of each treatment session unless other arrangements have been made. Payment can be made via e-transfer. I provide statements, receipts, and any other supporting documentation to help you get reimbursed by your insurance company. However, any dealings with the insurer will be left between you and them.
